The number of
people of Hispanic origin in El Paso County, Texas, increased by 10 percent
between 2000 and 2005, to 586,122 from 531,654 while
the number of people of non-Hispanic origin in the county fell to
135,968 from 147,968.
President Bush has ongoing
troubles with border issues.
